ABOUT US
StageArts DRAMA.

The stage is our playground; with limitless boundaries.
Here in Stage Arts Drama, we believe in cultivating and honing the skills of our actors to make them the best that they can be on the stage. We believe that…

"Acting is not being emotional, but being able to fully express emotion." - Kate Reid

In SA Drama, we use the six elements of drama to prepare our actors for the stage. The six elements are: Blocking, Voice Projection, Eye Contact, Characterization, Creativity, and Improvisation. Each element is equally important and is instilled in all of our members through games, exercises and assessments. Drama would not only be thought by the students themselves, but once in a while, external instructors would be invited in to give our members more exposure to what it means to act on stage. Our members are a fun, creative and talented bunch with a passion for acting, writing and directing.

Many came in without experience, but would leave with a rich amount of understanding of acting and the theatre.

DRAMA HIATUS

Listen up people. Due to the exams, there will no longer be anymore drama sessions on Saturdays, until further notice. Please check the blog or the StageArts noticeboard for updates. Sessions will resume by the end of this month or early March. I repeat again, do check the blog for updates. We are not going to text message you over such trivial matters. If you have any questions, drop anyone of your drama heads a text.

All the best for exams!
