StageArts DRAMA.
The stage is our playground; with limitless boundaries. Here in Stage Arts Drama, we believe in cultivating and honing the skills of our actors to make them the best that they can be on the stage. We believe that… "Acting is not being emotional, but being able to fully express emotion." - Kate Reid In SA Drama, we use the six elements of drama to prepare our actors for the stage. The six elements are: Blocking, Voice Projection, Eye Contact, Characterization, Creativity, and Improvisation. Each element is equally important and is instilled in all of our members through games, exercises and assessments. Drama would not only be thought by the students themselves, but once in a while, external instructors would be invited in to give our members more exposure to what it means to act on stage. Our members are a fun, creative and talented bunch with a passion for acting, writing and directing. Many came in without experience, but would leave with a rich amount of understanding of acting and the theatre.

HEY GUYS! This would be my last post in this blog before i officially hand everything down to SARAH JANE and HAZWAN TAN. For my... oh not MINE anymore... to the year ones going to year TWOs. I hope that you have enjoyed this year with us, as much as we have enjoyed having fun with you guys. I hope that i'll still see you guys performing next year when i come see your events! It has been a fun year and even though it was a very fast one, you guys would all have a place in my heart. =) For the new batch of year 3s... I have nothing to say except... I love you guys. I WILL miss every single one of you AND i believe that you guys would do a BETTER job than my batch. So next year production must be better than Faces of War ok? hehe. No pressure to the 2 drama heads lah of course... nooooooooo pressure at all. hehehe. So this is it. My last act as drama head is to tell you guys that each and everyone of you are talented in your own ways. All of you still have room to shine brighter so do me and the other year 3s proud next year!
