StageArts DRAMA.
The stage is our playground; with limitless boundaries. Here in Stage Arts Drama, we believe in cultivating and honing the skills of our actors to make them the best that they can be on the stage. We believe that… "Acting is not being emotional, but being able to fully express emotion." - Kate Reid In SA Drama, we use the six elements of drama to prepare our actors for the stage. The six elements are: Blocking, Voice Projection, Eye Contact, Characterization, Creativity, and Improvisation. Each element is equally important and is instilled in all of our members through games, exercises and assessments. Drama would not only be thought by the students themselves, but once in a while, external instructors would be invited in to give our members more exposure to what it means to act on stage. Our members are a fun, creative and talented bunch with a passion for acting, writing and directing. Many came in without experience, but would leave with a rich amount of understanding of acting and the theatre.

Hey guys! I got a couple of news. Firstly, drama sessions. Drama sessions will resume on the 10th of October 2009. Yeap. It's a Saturday so mark your calendar guys! Further details on the timing and location would be posted up here so staye tuned! Next, NYPTV. NYPTV needs around 10 - 15 actors to help them out in one of their shows. They just need these actors to act either as bad singers or good singers. So if any one of you are interested, please contact NICHOLAS LONG asap. He'll tell you guys more details. =) If you can't contact him, feel free to contact me or Ilham. Thats all for now. Kaye =)
