StageArts DRAMA.
The stage is our playground; with limitless boundaries. Here in Stage Arts Drama, we believe in cultivating and honing the skills of our actors to make them the best that they can be on the stage. We believe that… "Acting is not being emotional, but being able to fully express emotion." - Kate Reid In SA Drama, we use the six elements of drama to prepare our actors for the stage. The six elements are: Blocking, Voice Projection, Eye Contact, Characterization, Creativity, and Improvisation. Each element is equally important and is instilled in all of our members through games, exercises and assessments. Drama would not only be thought by the students themselves, but once in a while, external instructors would be invited in to give our members more exposure to what it means to act on stage. Our members are a fun, creative and talented bunch with a passion for acting, writing and directing. Many came in without experience, but would leave with a rich amount of understanding of acting and the theatre.

HEY GUYS! Omg. Production is like less than 3 weeks away! And we need to get rehearsals starting properly soon! I know most of my leads would have finished exams by this friday so i need the people in scenes 1 - 10 to come down this friday at 3pm and saturday at 10 am. I will no longer tolerate absence without reasons or coming late. It has come to a point where everyone has to start taking REHEARSALS VERY VERY SERIOUSLY. If you are not coming PLEASE inform ME AND ILHAM. And we will not accept excuses such as "i'm going out with friends". For this two weeks, we're asking you guys to give your full attention to production because it is a big event to showcase YOUR talents to people. From next monday onwards, there would be rehearsals everyday from 3pm onwards. What time will rehearsals end? It all depends on how fast our progress is and how much we can do. So please, do not come late. If you come late, the rest would have to wait and we'll never get things done. As for photoshoot, i've smsed the people involved in it. Location would be at a super ulu, desertd area near school. Everyone is supposed to meet outside clubroom at 7:30 AM for make up. So to those who i smsed. Report at 7.30am. costumes wise, i will discuss with you seperately. That is all for now. Kaye =)
