ABOUT US
StageArts DRAMA.
The stage is our playground; with limitless boundaries. Here in Stage Arts Drama, we believe in cultivating and honing the skills of our actors to make them the best that they can be on the stage. We believe that… "Acting is not being emotional, but being able to fully express emotion." - Kate Reid In SA Drama, we use the six elements of drama to prepare our actors for the stage. The six elements are: Blocking, Voice Projection, Eye Contact, Characterization, Creativity, and Improvisation. Each element is equally important and is instilled in all of our members through games, exercises and assessments. Drama would not only be thought by the students themselves, but once in a while, external instructors would be invited in to give our members more exposure to what it means to act on stage. Our members are a fun, creative and talented bunch with a passion for acting, writing and directing. Many came in without experience, but would leave with a rich amount of understanding of acting and the theatre.

Sorry for posting this REALLY late. As was mentioned on Saturday, there will be a drama meeting on MONDAY 1st June at 6.30pm. Venue is OUTSIDE the CLUBROOM which is at Block E level four, opposite the entrance of the Student Admin Office (well, you guys should know right?) Why is this meeting important? It will be the AUDITION RESULTS (JENG JENG JENG!) Thus it is required that EVERYONE (year 1s & year 2s) to be present. However, if you really cannot make it, with a really valid reason, please do inform either Kaye or I (Ilham, sexual chocolate) ASAP. Well, see you guys later then! And all the best for the results =DD.!
