StageArts DRAMA.
The stage is our playground; with limitless boundaries. Here in Stage Arts Drama, we believe in cultivating and honing the skills of our actors to make them the best that they can be on the stage. We believe that… "Acting is not being emotional, but being able to fully express emotion." - Kate Reid In SA Drama, we use the six elements of drama to prepare our actors for the stage. The six elements are: Blocking, Voice Projection, Eye Contact, Characterization, Creativity, and Improvisation. Each element is equally important and is instilled in all of our members through games, exercises and assessments. Drama would not only be thought by the students themselves, but once in a while, external instructors would be invited in to give our members more exposure to what it means to act on stage. Our members are a fun, creative and talented bunch with a passion for acting, writing and directing. Many came in without experience, but would leave with a rich amount of understanding of acting and the theatre.

Hey guys! I want to congratulate every single performer for a JOB WELL DONE for all 3 JP performance. Youu guys rocked the stage! OK... we have got bad news. Our lunch time performances have been cut down/postponed due to the swine flu. As of now, the only confirmed performance would be on the 29th of JULY which is an NDP event. That performance would be by the YEAR 2s and 3s. For now, there's no news on whether they would replace our canceled time slots or not, but fret not, you guys would still be busy preparing for PRODUCTION 09! =) For this week's production rehearsal, since we can't go to school to rehearse, we would be going to scout for an alternative place to rehearse. So if you guys have any CONSTRUCTIVE ideas, then please do tell me. =) We would be informing u guys by tomorrow night where our rehearsal would be. It should be somewhere near school. Kaye =)
